This year the ceremony started at the New Zealand Memorial Park.

Official party departed the for the Markt and parks in the main square. for a short ceremony.
The reception took place at Messines Peace Village.
Short speeches by Burgemeester and New Zealand Chargé d’Affaires followed by a reading of a message by Mrs Sara Pickering, on behalf of the people of Featherston - Exchange of gifts.
