TMYS annual ceremony / Herdenking - Poelkapelle - 18/08/2012
The 2012 ceremony took place at the memorial at Poelkapelle at 11.00am on Saturday 18th August 2012 and concluded with the toast of remembrance taking place within the nearby "Old Town Hall cafe which is almost opposite but to the right of the TMYS itself.
A dedicated tank action tour following in the footsteps of the legendary F41 FRAY BENTOS tank action was offered on the Saturday afternoon.
The TMYS was also be represented by the FotTMYS during the evening Last Post Ceremony under the Menin Gate Memorial to the Missing in Ypres.
The friends delegation was represented throughout by it's Honorary President, Lt General (Ret) David Leakey CMG CBE and supported by his fellow Board members.
Op zaterdag 18 augustus 2012 vond de jaarlijkse herdenkingsplechtigheid plaats aan het Tank Memorial Monument in Poelkapelle. Hieronder een aantal foto's van de plechtigheid.
