American Memorial Day - Kemmel - 24/05/2013
At the occasion of American Memorial Day, a short ceremony took place at the American monument at Kemmel on Friday, May, 24th, 2013. American Ambassador Howard Gutman participated in the ceremony.
Naar aanleiding van American Memorial Day vond op vrijdag 24 mei 2013 een korte ceremonie plaats aan het Amerikaans monument in Kemmel. De Amerikaanse Ambassadeur Howard Gutman nam deel aan de plechtigheid.
The 27th and 30th division participated in the Great War.
Arrival of the Ambassador.
Greeting Marc Lewyllie, mayor of Heuvelland.
Short addresses by the mayor and the Ambassador.
Laying of the wreaths.
Followed by the national anthems of Belgium and the United States.
