Poppyfield Menenpoort / Meningate - Ieper - 10/11/2010
Voor het derde jaar op rij plantte de Royal British Legion tijdens de dagen voor 11 november tienduizenden kartonnen poppies/klaprozen op de flanken van de Menenpoort. Op deze poppies staan boodschappen voor de slachtoffers van de twee Wereldoorlogen.
Het veld is te bezichtigen vanaf dinsdag 9 november tot en met donderdag 11 november.

For the third consecutive year the Royal British Legion has planted over 20.000 red cardboard poppies on the banks of the Menin Gate during the days prior to the 11th of November. Each poppy will have a personal dedication on, written by supporters of the Royal British Legion. The poppyfield can be visited untill Armistice Day included.
